some things never change…
it might seem like i quit working on this blog. but after a LONG season of grad school, work, and a small vacation i finally have something worth showing. since my last post (when was that?) i’ve taken a liking to foosball. i think what originally started a small competition on the weekend has developed into a full fledged friends and drinking past time whenever I go out. shuffleboard is another hit. in this post i’m going to divide my pictures into two categories based on my trips. i’ll try and comment on some of the more interesting ones, but they’re uploaded in no particular order because i like to keep things random.
San Francisco: home of swan oyster depot…and other things

all this needs is a zidane headbutt expression.

New York: the most densely populated major city in the united states

apparently everyone in china town knows the entire lay out of china town pretty well. this for example, is a popular location for many movie scenes…probably because it looks the most chinese.

i’m not quite sure how you park your taxi like this but it was enough to stop people in their tracks.

no this isn’t the land before time.

it’s truly amazing how quickly we can rebuild from the ash and rubble to something as stunning as this.

fake. ?what if someone knocked it over?

the focus here isn’t the oversized apple logo. it’s the plaza hotel lurking in the background from home alone when kevin gets lost sleeps in a $1000/night hotel and gets chased by pigeons in new york.
