the wine of temecula

one of the unique aspects about san diego is the relatively large number of micro-breweries and wineries packed into a small region.  it was rachel’s birthday this past weekend and thanks to her, we ended up booking a wine tour in temecula.  i believe it was a first time for both of us (certainly me) and it ended up being one of the best decisions we’ve made.  our trip landed us in 3 different wineries and an afternoon full of meats, cheese, breads and wines.  we even bought a few bottles ourselves.  i certainly recommend this to all my friends, but it can get a little crazy.

 

the edges of the world

torrey pines is one of my favorite places where i go to think, relax, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the ocean.  sometimes life gets a little crazy you know?  here are some pictures of some recent visits and i would absolutely recommend this place to everyone and anyone who has not visited.
